The Doral Yard’s Kids Club meets on the third Saturday of every month from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Kids ages 6 – 10 are invited to join the club and participate in a variety of enriching and fun activities centered around cooking, arts and crafts, gardening, movement, music and much more, while parents take a midday break enjoying offerings by The Doral Yard vendors.

Kids between the ages of 3 – 5 are also welcome, as long as they are accompanied by a parent at all times.

Starting at 11:30 sharp, kids will first take a tour of The Doral Yard, visiting the Little River Cooperative herb garden and getting to know The Backyard like it’s their own, followed by guided outdoor movement activities to loosen up and get to know their new friends.

Next, kids will strap on their aprons and get ready for the day’s main activity. Guided by The Doral Yard staff and special guests, kids will have fun creating, exploring, tasting and discovering the world around them through a 45 minute hands-on activity.

Sat., 10/16 // Kids Club Halloween Edition: Kids get crafty decorating pumpkins with glow-in-the-dark paints and creating their very own Halloween lanterns.

Sat., 11/20 // Kids Club Thanksgiving Edition: Food and cooking is the name of the game in November’s Kids Club. Kids learn how to make delicious Thanksgiving left-over dumplings with cranberry dipping sauce.

Things to consider:

Ticket sales end 1 day before each Kids Club meeting.

All parents and/or adult caregivers must stay on premise at The Doral Yard during the entire1.5 hour Kids Club workshop.

Parent and/or adult caregivers of children 3 – 5 years old must accompany their children at all times and in every Kids Club activity.

Kids Club Member package (6 classes for the price of 5) is non-transferable. 1 Kids Club Member package per child.

All Kids Club workshops are rain or shine

If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or are exposed to someone with COVID, on or up to 5 days before the scheduled Kids Club workshop, please do not attend the workshop.

COVID-19 risk management precautions will be implemented as necessary. These may include mandatory masks, social distancing and frequent hand washing and sanitizing.
