Raquel Sofia, one of Miami’s most prominent modern Latin artists, performs live at The Backyard stage.

The Puerto Rican native, who has performed backing vocals for both Shakira and Juanes–and whose formative music education and inspiration are rooted in jazz (particularly Ella Fitzgerald)–has forged her own path and style.
