**The Doral Yard is located at 8455 NW 53 Street, Suite 106, in Downtown Doral at the intersection of Paseo Blvd. and NW 53rd Street.

Parking is available along the street and in the public areas of the parking garages at Downtown Doral and valet parking is also available in front of Pasion del Cielo Thursdays through Saturdays from 6 p.m. – 11 p.m.

The Doral Yard and Venture X Doral present Food Entrepreneurs Dish – The Wild West Edition.

We hope to foster some honest and insightful conversation in two 45-minute panels moderated by New Times food editor, Laine Doss.

Laine helped us think of our title as she described what she sees as a Miami version of the gold rush: Influential culinary businesses are going west to neighborhoods such as Doral, Hialeah, Kendall and more—areas where perhaps smaller strip mall gems or chain restaurants once ruled.

The evening will include mingling over amazing bites and drink samples provided by some of the participating entrepreneurs, along with a conversation on why culinary business owners are headed to dynamic Doral, followed by a talk about Southwest Miami-Dade in general. We’ll talk about the challenges and advantages of being ‘west of 95.’

In the meantime, we’d love to whet your appetite with cooking demos and tastes, and to teach you a few of our secret recipes to try at home while you eagerly await our arrival in Doral.

Join Chef Julie Frans, Community and Culinary Director of The Doral Yard, for a special sneak peak into the behind-the-scenes of della bowls, and taste what all the hype is about!

Lilia Pozos of Your Green Mermaid will also take the stage to discuss about what you put ON your body and how it is as important as what you put IN your body. She’ll also help us to understand a bit more about the relationship between food choices, cosmetics, and the environment.

During the culinary portion, you’ll learn cooking techniques we use at della bowls, getting an in-depth look at our ingredient selections and the art of perfect bowl-building. The class will finish with sample bowls for all participants.
