March has arrived and we aren’t slowing down any time soon. From St. Patrick’s Day to the relaunch of Kids Club, there is truly something for the whole family at The Doral Yard. Special Events
Ritmo Doral – On Sat., 3/12, at 8 p.m The City of Doral and The Rhythm Foundation present the 6th Annual Ritmo Doral hosted at The Doral Yard. Son Mandinga and Gafieira Rio Miami headline the celebration. Admission is free.
Sips & Succulents – Along with Alore Event Firm, The Yard hosts a succulent planting workshop at The Yard on Wed., 3/16, at 6:30 p.m. Tickets to the event include all supplies and a mojito. Groups are encouraged to attend and with the purchase of two tickets, a third will be free.
St. Paddy’s Day Bash – Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at The Doral Yard on Thu., 3/17, at 5 p.m. Green is encouraged and attendees can imbibe in free shots of Jameson, food specials like “Cochi papas” by un pollo, green beer at Barbakoa and live music by Brothers of Others, starting at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
Kids Club – We’re excited to welcome Kids Club back to The Yard this month. Little artists are invited to nurture their creative expression with an enriching session guided by Little Creative Souls on Sat., 3/19, at 2:30 p.m. The event is open to children ages 3 to 9.
Spring Paint & Sip – Grab a canvas and cocktail as you test your creative limits on Wed., 3/30, at 6 p.m. Tickets to the event include all materials necessary including canvas, paints, and brushes. Drinks are not included but happy hour runs 4-7 p.m. and The Bar at The Yard will serve specially priced $8 margaritas from 7-10 p.m.
Live Music
Noche de Salsa ft. Braidsman – On Fri., 3/11, at 8 p.m., trumpeter Braidman takes to the stage at The Yard to delight with Cuban and Latin American sounds. Admission is free.
Tropical Sundays ft. Bòfré – Celebrate Sunday’s good vibes with Island Reggae and World Rhythms featuring Bòfré on Sun., 3/20, at 5 p.m. Admission is free.
It’s Absolutely Time … An Exclusive Evening ft. Yoli Mayor – On Fri., 3/25, at 8 p.m., spend the evening getting lost in the music of Miami powerhouse vocalist, Yoli Mayor. Expect the unexpected as Yoli transforms The Yard into an oasis of sound and interactive experiences. Admission is free.
Food & Drink
Carmen Bowl – During the month of March, della bowls launches the Carmen Bowl, created by our own Chef Carmen This Asian-inspired bowl features brown rice, quinoa mix, mushrooms, kelp, raw roots, edamame, sesame, pickled onions, avocado, and Gold Sauce. You can find more details here.
BarbaKantina Executive Lunch – Barbakoa By Finka has just launched their BarbaKantina Executive Lunch. For only $28, you can dive into your choice of appetizer, entree, and beer or wine from a select menu available Tuesday – Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can see the full menu here and Reservations can be made here.
Cocktail of the Month – The March $10 cocktail of the month is “Old Habits.” The cocktail, which can be found at The Bar at The Yard, features Smooth Ambler Bourbon, honey syrup, and lemon.
Wellness
Kids Yoga – Led by a certified children’s yoga instructor, Paola Gonzalez, Kids Yoga will take place on Sat., 3/12, at 11 a.m. Children and their parents are welcome to enjoy a morning of movement. Tickets can be found here.
Hatha Yoga with Dunia – On Sun., 3/13 at 10 a.m., you can get into flow with a yoga class right in The Backyard with an emphasis on enhancing your awareness, alignment and acceptance.
Power Hour – Certified Strength Coach, Geo Valdez, hosts a high-energy training session for all fitness levels on Sat., 3/26 at 11 a.m. Ten percent of the proceeds from the class will be donated to Miami Rescue Mission.
